Privacy policy

Webb Technologies LLC (“Webb Technologies”, “we”) is responsible for the information described on this page. Questions go to info@webb-technologies.com.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form or book a call, we collect the details you provide — your name, work email, company, role, budget, timeline and the information you give us about your project. Along with your details, we record how you reached the site: the referring page, any campaign tags in the link, and the pages where you arrived and submitted the form.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to your inquiry, understand your project and schedule a scoping call. We use how you reached the site to understand which of our marketing brings in inquiries.

Automated prioritization

We use your form answers to prioritize inquiries. The result decides whether we show a booking link right away. We review inquiries ourselves, and a lower priority does not mean your inquiry is ignored.

Where it’s stored

Contact and project details you submit through the site, and how you reached it, are stored in our own database, hosted in our AWS account and backed up continuously, and synced from there to our CRM, Attio. We also receive an email copy of each completed inquiry. If you book a call, our scheduling provider, Calendly, holds your booking details; we record the booking — including your name, email and call time — in Attio, and add a matching record to our own database. Attio and Calendly are third-party services with their own security practices.

Security and transfers

Our own database runs on AWS in the United States, encrypted at rest, and the site is served over HTTPS. The vendors listed below may process data in other countries.

Who receives your data

  • AWS: hosting, our database, and email notifications through SES
  • Attio: our CRM
  • Calendly: scheduling
  • Google: Tag Manager and Analytics, only with analytics cookies
  • Plausible Analytics: cookieless stats, loaded through our own domain
  • Meta and LinkedIn: ad measurement, only with advertising cookies

Depending on the data, these vendors act as our processors or as independent controllers.

We don’t sell your data; how we share it for ads

We do not sell, rent or trade your information to third parties. It is used only as described on this page: to respond to your inquiry, understand how you found us and, if you choose, to deliver the services you engage us for.

When advertising cookies are allowed, we share limited data with Meta and LinkedIn to measure our ads: a hashed email address (for Meta also a hashed name, plus your IP address and browser details) and ad click IDs. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) this can count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, turn off advertising in Your privacy choices in the footer, or use Global Privacy Control, which we treat as an advertising opt-out.

Retention and deletion

We keep a completed inquiry for up to three years after our last contact with you. If you start the contact form but don’t finish it, we still receive your first-step answers (project type and email), along with how you reached the site, so we can follow up; we keep that partial information for up to 12 months if we haven’t been in touch, and the same deletion rights apply to it. Our application logs are kept for 30 days.

To request that we delete your information, email info@webb-technologies.com and we will remove it from our database, our CRM, our email and our scheduling records, subject to any legal or accounting obligations to retain specific records. Our database backups roll off within 35 days, so a deleted record is gone from them within that time. We may keep records longer when the law requires it or to resolve a dispute.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you access to your information, correct it, delete it, send you a copy, or stop using it (objection). Email info@webb-technologies.com from the address you used with us, so we can verify it’s you. We won’t treat you differently for using a right. If we deny a request, reply with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line to appeal.

Cookies and analytics

If you’re in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland or one of several other countries with opt-in laws, including Canada, Brazil and Australia — or if we can’t tell where you’re visiting from — a banner asks first: choose Accept all, Reject all, or Manage to set analytics and advertising separately. Until you accept, only what the site needs to run loads, plus Plausible, our cookieless analytics (see below).

Everywhere else, analytics and advertising are on by default and no banner appears; you can turn either off at any time.

Wherever you are, if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we always honor it as an advertising opt-out, whether or not you’ve made an explicit choice, and we don’t show the banner.

You can change your choice at any time using Your privacy choices in the footer of every page.

Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, only when analytics cookies are on.

Meta (Facebook/Instagram ads) and LinkedIn, only when advertising cookies are on. If you submit the contact form or book a call when advertising cookies are on, we also send a hashed (not plain-text) version of your email address to Meta and LinkedIn directly from our servers — and, to Meta only, your name in the same hashed form, along with your IP address and browser (user-agent) string, which Meta uses for matching. We only retain your IP address and browser string for this purpose when advertising cookies are on, and we never send your company, budget, timeline, or project details to either platform.

Plausible is a cookieless analytics tool designed not to collect personal data, so it runs regardless of your cookie choice. It loads through our own domain. We rely on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); Plausible says its data is hosted in the EU. To object, email us.

Calendly, which may set its own cookies once the booking widget loads, governed by Calendly’s own privacy policy.
